A diagnosis of cancer presents many challenges. Chemotherapy and other cancer treatments have contributed substantially to improvements in survival, but need to be managed carefully to ensure the patient's safety and comfort. Our team at The Patricia Ritchie Centre for Cancer Care & Research work closely with the patient's oncologists or haematologists to personalise care and achieve the goals for which they are aiming.
The Patricia Ritchie Centre for Cancer Care & Research is a unique private facility that provides excellence in cancer care. Located in a free standing federation house within the grounds of the Mater Hospital campus, the centre provides integrated, multidisciplinary care to patients. Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other supportive therapies are delivered in relaxed, comfortable surroundings.
The centre staff, where possible, will try and make contact prior to first attending to answer any questions.
If you wish to make contact prior to your first visit, it is most welcome on 9900 7640.
