Brindha Shivalingam is an extensively qualified and experienced Neurosurgeon. She completed all of her Neurosurgical training in 2006 and then spent a further year in Cambridge focusing on Neuro oncology and Acoustic surgery. She now has a highly specialised practice in these fields. Brindha is also very well known for her compassionate and caring nature with her patients.
Brindha is very involved in the teaching of medical students at the University of Sydney, University of Western Sydney and Notre Dame. She is a highly sought after mentor. Through her attachment with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, she is also responsible for the training of up and coming Neurosurgeons. Her research interests lie in Melanoma metastases to the brain and Glioma. She is passionate about improving the outcomes from Brain Cancer and so Co founded “Brainstorm” to facilitate this.
