He is a visiting medical officer at North Shore Private Hospital and the Mater Hospital, on Sydney's lower north shore. He consults at Northern Gastroenterology (North Shore Private Hospital) and Sydney Gastrointestinal Specialists (Eastwood). Chris specialises in providing personalised, evidence-based clinical care for people with gastrointestinal issues, such as inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), coeliac disease, liver diseases, peptic ulcer disease, bowel cancer screening, polyp detection and removal and irritable bowel syndrome. Chris recently returned from Timor-Leste, where, as the country director for ANZGITA, he helped set up the country’s only endoscopy unit. He received his training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, UK, Canberra Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital. Chris has lectured and tutored medical students in universities ranging from Cambridge University to Australian National University, Sydney University and University Nacional Timor Lorosae. He graduated from Sydney University in 2008.
