Dr David Dickison has been an orthopaedic surgeon for over 25 years. He completed his Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) accredited training in Sydney. He completed further education in knee surgery as a fellow in the UK and USA.
Dr Dickison is involved in advanced training of orthopaedic surgeons, and is currently Chair of the AOA Fellowships Committee. He is active in orthopaedic research, presenting regularly both locally and internationally.
Dr Dickison has pioneered robotic total and partial (unicompartmental) knee replacement. He has been instrumental in the introduction of the MAKO Robot to the Mater Hospital. He is the trainer in Australia for MAKO partial knee replacements.
Dr Dickison prides himself on providing personalised care. He enjoys working with patients so as to achieve the best outcome. He has extensive experience with complicated knee problems.
