(Download profile page) (PDF 329.3KB) Dr O'Neill has been treating genitourinary cancers for over 20 years and offers a comprehensive range of cancer services. He is a fully accredited robotic surgeon, specialising in robotic nerve sparing radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic and robotic kidney surgery, as well as brachytherapy for prostate cancer and MRI targeted transperineal biopsies.
Dr O'Neill prides himself on his individualisation of patient treatments at an affordable cost.
He was awarded the travelling fellowship to The Institute of Urology in London in reconstructive surgery in 1996. He has been a VMO in Urology at St Vincent's campus since 1997 with a special interest in the latest advances in urological oncology. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive treatments for BPH, including laser prostatectomy and the Urolift. His other interests include the management of complex renal calculi and female urology.
Urgent cancer and stone cases can be seen the same day.
He consults out of the Mater Clinic and we welcome his full accreditation to the Mater Hospital.
