Dr Rtshiladze is an Australian trained specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. His training and special interests include: skin cancer surgery, melanoma management, reconstructive plastic surgery, paetiatric plastic surgery and paediatric craniofacial surgery. 

Dr Rtshiladze has completed two post-graduate fellowships in plastic surgery. His first was with the Melanoma Institute Australia specialising in surgical management of skin oncology and melanoma. This was followed by an international fellowship in paediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery with the Univeristy of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children in Canada. 

Dr Rtshiladze is a VMO and active member of the Plastic Surgery Departments at The Prince of Wales Hospital, The St George Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. He also operates at The Mater Hospital and St George Private Hospital. 

Dr Rtshiladze is affiliated with the Melanoma Institute Australia based in North Sydney. He consults in rooms at The Poche Centre and operates with the Melanoma Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. 

Dr Rtshiladze has a keen interest in the ongoing education of current and future health professionals. He is actively involved in coordinating teaching for NSW plastic surgery trainees. In 2016 he was the local coordinator for the Australian and New Zealand Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery RACS fellowship exam.
